Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains how ParthSarathi collects, uses and protects your information.
Last updated: 21 August 2026
1. Who we are
ParthSarathi (“we”, “us”) provides a Bhagavad Gita-grounded AI guide. This policy explains exactly what we collect, why, who processes it on our behalf, and the controls you have. It describes the service as it actually works today. The legal entity responsible for your data, its registered address and its grievance contact are set out in the “Contact and jurisdiction” section below.
2. Information we collect
Account details: your name, email address and sign-in identity (including Google sign-in, if you use it). Profile details you choose to enter: city, date of birth, gender, time of birth, place of birth, and the free-text “About me” note. These optional birth details are used only to personalise guidance — we do not use them for any other purpose, and you can leave them blank or clear them at any time. Your content: the questions you ask, the conversations they produce, your journal entries and reflections, your bookmarks and your practice and reading progress. Derived data: an AI-generated “persona” summary — recurring themes, values, decision style and guidance preferences — inferred from your profile and your own questions and feedback. It is a personalisation aid, not a diagnosis, and you can switch it off. Operational data: token usage records, subscription and payment records, and basic product-analytics events. Diagnostic data from our mobile apps: when the app fails we receive a crash report containing the error and its stack trace, the screen you were on as a route name (for example “/app/journal”, with any identifiers stripped out), your app and operating-system version, and your account identifier — never your name or email. Crash reports never contain your questions, conversations, journal entries or reflections. If you switch notifications on, the app also registers a device token so we can deliver them.
3. How we use your information
To generate the guidance you ask for; to personalise it using your profile, persona and history; to maintain your streaks, progress and journal; to operate subscriptions and billing; to enforce usage limits; to screen for safety and crisis signals in submitted questions; to diagnose crashes and fix faults in the apps; to keep the service secure; and to meet legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information and we do not use your reflections to train third-party AI models.
5. Your choices and rights
You can view and edit every profile field, including the birth details, from your profile page. You can turn persona memory off, regenerate it, or clear it outright in Profile — with memory off, guidance uses only the current conversation and the profile details you have saved. You can export your data from Settings → Export, and delete your account and its content from Settings → Delete account. You can also ask us to access, correct, restrict or object to processing using the contact route below.
7. Data security
Your data is held in an access-controlled database with row-level security, so one account cannot read another's content. Traffic is encrypted in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we continue to strengthen these safeguards.
